* In case of preventing check-in later than 18:00 for pre-booked rooms, the hostel must be notified and an agreement made about later check-in.
Otherwise, the booking is considered canceled and can be rented out to other guests.
Guests must be able to present identification upon arrival.
The b&b hostel is non-smoking. All spaces are equipped with smoke detectors. Guests who smoke in any of the hostel’s premises may be charged SEK 4,000 in cleaning costs. Alarms due to smoking or other negligence may lead to prosecution. The cost of calling out the fire brigade will be charged to the guest.
The guest understands and accepts this as an agreement with Kobbar & Skär Hostel/B&B during their booked stay.
We apply advance payment at the time of booking. Booking and payment takes place digitally in advance with credit card/debit card via the hostel’s website. The credit card must be issued to one of the guests and can be shown together with identification.
Booking and or payment can also be done through the reception.
Refund according to the cancellation rules below.
Only the guests who registered and checked in the paid reservation have the right to stay (overnight) at the hostel. If necessary, all guests must be able to prove their identity with a valid ID document.
The booking is binding
The booking becomes binding when you pay for the stay.
Cancellation rules via our web/phone
You can cancel free of charge up to 3 days (at 12:00) before arrival. If you cancel within 3 days before arrival, the cancellation fee will be the total price of the reservation. If you do not show up, the cost of no-show will correspond to the cancellation fee. The room(s) remain booked until 19:00 on the day of arrival, after which the booking expires and becomes available for others to book*.
* unless an agreement on later check-in has been made with the hostel.
Cancellation via external booking channel
Cancellation is only possible via the channel you made your booking through. Read your cancellation policy on the booking confirmation you received from the channel you booked through. The cancellation rules may vary from these pages.
When should I pay?
You must pay for the booking directly at the time of booking.
A card number must be entered when booking. We accept payment and debit cards issued by Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
When the booking/payment has been completed, you will receive a booking confirmation to the e-mail you have specified. In the email you will also receive a link to booking/cancellation.
To view/cancel, click on the link (booking/cancellation) you received in the booking confirmation and enter your five-digit booking number, as well as your surname.Here you can view and possibly cancel within the framework of the cancellation rules.v
Person responsible for the booking
The person who booked is ultimately responsible as the official contact person
Both for himself and/or other guests in his party and thus liable for compensation for any damages or costs that he/she or the party caused the hostel or third parties.
False alarm/Loss money/Sheets/Keys/Cleaning
The person in charge of booking is also responsible for compensation for costs for false alarms in cases where the guest or the party caused such. In the event of a false alarm to the Emergency Services due to smoking or other reasons, a cost of SEK 7,000 will be charged.
The person in charge of the booking is liable for compensation for the property that the overnight guests in the party damage or illegally remove from the hostel or other areas of the property.
The person responsible for booking is also responsible for leaving rented sheets and towels on departure. If sheets and towels are missing, the guest is liable for compensation for them,
50 – 500 kr/set. Depending on what is missing.
The person making the reservation is also responsible for returning all keys to the reception before departure. In the event of a lost key, the person who made the reservation will be charged a minimum amount of SEK 3,200 for producing new keys and changing the lock cylinder.
The person in charge of the booking agrees that all costs incurred by him/her, or the people who are in his/her company, will be charged to the credit card/debit card with which the booking was paid or with a separate invoice.
The person who booked is responsible for leaving the room clean and tidy, i.e. in the same condition as at check-in. An uncleaned room is charged SEK 300. Cleaning can be booked no later than the day before departure for SEK 150.
